I was merely hinting that meeting me RL might be a traumatising experience for those of a nervous disposition. Or, indeed, for those with a keen fashion sense.
You don't think I'd insult you, surely? I save that sort of thing for someone who shall remain nameless (I'll just disclose the initials 'S the S' )

Oh, You and S the S will prob'ly end up ing.
As a girl who had her share of fashion traumas, I can tell you nothing surprizes me anymore- I'd love to meet you!
UH- I think you should stop being a wise ass for the meet up.... But how would I recognize you like that?

oh, pf, i know you wouldn't insult me and i really would love to meet all of you, regardless of your fashion sense
besides, i'm sure all of us have been fashion nightmares at some point. i grew up in the seventies, that nightmare lasted ten years!!
for all of you since i won't be able to do it in person.
you must all take many pictures and post them where i can see them

I know you'll be there in spirit - and I'm sure photos will be in evidence on h2g2 very soon afterwards.
Bob - I thought you were offline for a few days...

agog - 'excited anticipation of a revelation' is the best definition I can come up with off the top of my head. An example would be:
"The British public are all agog to see who wins the election."
This is also a good example of a 'blatant lie'.

or "A Gog: a small fertility statuette, used by certain Aztec tribes"
Nah, kidding....
But it worked well in the context
