Hey, finally I am free from the shackles of school, never to return (except for prizegiving and the Pet Show on Friday night, but apart from that ...)
Did my exams as well. Economics: fairly easy, although I'm always worried about how quickly I get through economics exams/tests etc. in case I've missed something. I had an extra hour at the end of this one. Latin: translation a lot easier than expected, poetry a lot worse than expected, mainly cos they asked us questions on all the poems I hadn't studied instead of the ones I had which 'come up every year' apparently. English: got gradually worse, ie. Tennessee Williams was fine, Edwin Morgan was ok and Nadine Gordimer was a nightmare. Writing an essay on a 530 page book (small print) of which you have only read 100 pages was always going to be difficult though.

Saw King Adora on Wednesday, they were absolutely FANTASTIC! They're also very very lovely . Got kisses off Maxi and Martyn. Feel a bit bad because we were all throwing lollies at the bands and when Easyworld were on Chloe chucked a Drumstick lolly at Dave and it was a direct hit in the chest. He just looked up at us and said "Should we go now then?" We had to show that it was our mistake (and bad aim) by yelling in sync "You're amazing!!!!" The ballistic lollies went on all night and when Maxi noticed he said "We're going to get fat of you keep throwing food at us." Don't think so somehow, but at least he noticed, cos most of them went bouncing away underneath the drumkit.
Didn't get home till 2am and got up at 5am, but managed to sit the Economics test anyway and miraculously got 20/20, even though I was temporarily deaf

Gaaah gaaah! Have just been phoned by Sarah Aspinall from Hall or Nothing PR and have defintely got an interview with King Adora on Wednesday for the fanzine. Am SOOOO nervous ! I haven't got a clue what to do!
To make matters worse, I've got an economics test first thing on Thursday morning, and Mrs Frame made us all promise on pain of death that we would all be in to do it on Thursday because the date's already been changed about three times. After the Manics gig I was shattered in the morning , so how am I meant to do an economics test?!

The daily grind

Have just been off for three weeks, during which time I slept a lot , did no work and met Ash, who were fantastic live in Falkirk.
There was an article in the newspaper today about retro fashions, and I'd been in every single second-hand shop they mentioned, mainly because two of them are within short walking distance of my school (and Glasgow Uni). But was v v disappointed that they didn't mention Retro in Otago St, as it's the best of the lot.
Only nine proper days of school left thank God... . I can't cope anymore! I want to leave now! Half of my class have already left and just aren't coming back or sitting their exams because they already have places at University and can't be bothered anymore. Why do I have to be so faithful?
Grr, it's the time of the wasp again . I hate them, what is their purpose in life except to nest in my loft, why won't they just all die die die?!!!
