As we head towards the final vote...
Posted Aug 4, 2001
...uppermost in my mind is 'who will survive'. I have fallen since Friday, for sure. I wasn't able to be online until now as my RL went ballistic. My mom was admitted to hospital on Friday after collapsing at home. The doctor is still not too sure of the cause.
Tonight I will spend as long as possible here (or as long as I can stay awake after a bad night). Tomorrow I will probably only be here at night again so my record for spending a lot of time in the Bandwagon has been badly spoilt.
Whatever may happen, my friends Cafram and d'Elaphant both deserve to win and I will cheer the winner wholeheartedly, though I have to be honest and say "I'd love to win". So all you lovely researchers vote, but please don't vote for me.

And now there are three (and Zeppo)!
Posted Aug 2, 2001
Don Alfredo and Rama have been voted out of the Bandwagon.
They are free to roam, free to post in all fora and my time will come when I will be free to join them on the outside again. But for now, I want to stay.
This has been a fun experience and I am NOT ready to leave. So this is a call to all out there who know me, please vote next week but don't vote for me.
to all...
...and special to sea, aka, Don Alfredo and Rama.

Task 3 Completed
Posted Jul 31, 2001
After a lot of preparation we all finished cooking our five course gourmet meal. What a pleasure it was to then enjoy a very long, very leisurely dinner/breakfast/lunch.
We changed our designated eating area to the garden which was a brilliant idea...sunny during the day and eating under the stars at night.
Thanks to d'Elaphant, BB gave us a maid-bot, whom we have named Rosa, to serve us and clean up after us.
We are being very well behaved and are no longer planning to escape.
Cafram, the poor darling, has been extremely tired due to lack of sleep. She still managed to finish making the most delicious Pavlova.
Rama, who had a really bad day IRL, received a massage to help relax him. He made a very tasty soup.
Don Alfredo has been very busy IRL but managed to be active in the house in spite of it. He made a yummy carpaccio.
d'Elaphant cooked the fish dish which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
Zeppo was very good and was rewarded with a large juicy bone.
I made a traditional South African dish, Babotie.
And now we wait again...voting has started and two of us will have to leave.
to everyone.

To Smiley or not to Smiley...

See what I did? I am becoming used to not using smileys all the time. I have now mixed up using smileys and **.

The Second Week
Posted Jul 30, 2001
We are half way through the second week of isolation and reaching the end of our third task.
This is a hard task but it has been fun. We've had to put a lot of thought and discussion into it and I know the end result will be delicious.
I cannot imagine what idea BB will come up with for task four but I have every confidence it will be a 'beauty'.
I am finding myself more settled and only being able to speak to Cafram, d'Elaphant and Zeppo, Don Alfredo and Rama is fine for the duration of the Bandwagon. They have become good friends and I enjoy their company. In fact I get excited when I see they are online at the same time as I am.
Oh, apologies to BB whom we also get to talk to! I am still having a problem with BB not letting me have a long rope to play tug o war with Zeppo. *laugh*
Keep watching and enjoy the future happenings.
to all.
