"God Gave Rock And Roll To You II" by KISS.
The best end-credit music in the world ever in my opinion!!!

According to all the Google searches I've done looking for a copy of the song, and also the end-credits of the film - it was by KISS.

"God Gave Rock And Roll To You" was a bit annoying, however the re-done version they did for the film, "God Gave Rock And Roll To You II" ranks right near the top of my favorites list!

Lifson, my dear, don't challenge me on classic rock history:

Some 2 years before Kiss even formed, I think.smiley - tongueout

As I see it, that's a major problem with the current pop culture - the performance star is given more credit than the author/creator of anything. There's no sense of proportion or history. I see that in the EG articles I've been bothered to read/critique. smiley - sadface

There ought to be a link there somewhere back to the topic of remembering phone numbers or their history. smiley - winkeye

Now I can't for the life of me remember who wrote or recorded that one. It's just some tune or other I recall from my childhood smiley - erm

I stand corrected. There just is an overwhelming number of sources which said it was by KISS. Oh well - neat song either way - neat bands both of them. smiley - smiley

Oh, and isn't that number of GD's from 'The Promised Land' by the King himself?

As featured in Men In Black, on Tommy Lee Jones' eight-track.
