Hello. Welcome to my humble abode.
I'd like to get something out of the way before starting: I'm an American. I've noticed that this particular confidence is an intelligent conversation stopper here on h2g2. I love humor and jokes, but they cease to be funny when repeated over and over. I'm not a blind patriot, but I do have a love of country. Please leave the American bashing at the doorstep. (I'd daresay that Mexicans and Canadians, among others, get frustrated with American bashing also.)
As this is a personal web space, I feel the compulsion to share many boring personal details:
I'm a student at Saint Mary's College of Maryland. I'm majoring in Anthropology/Sociology, with the goal of a career in archaeology. Communing with the soil is sometimes a better choice than communing with humans.
As mentioned above, I love humor. I'm a budding amateur photographer. I sometimes write for the website http://www.hackedtobits.com" >http://www.hackedtobits.com. However, I'm not a writer, which was made clear after reading many wonderful h2g2 articles.
I welcome intelligent conversation, and I'd love to hear from you! I will try to get back to you ASAP, unless of course, it is near exams week. In which case I will be walking in circles, muttering to myself and holding books to my forehead hoping against all hope that osmosis works in this fashion.
