It is literally a virtual pub crawl.. the only difference is we plan it all in advance so people can schedule it, both Pubs and Crawlers... then we'll actually hold to a schedule spending approximately 15 minutes in each pub listed. Those who have pubs on hootoo are advised the time the crawl is likely to roll through so they can be ready.

I think it's an excellent idea.. the problem is there is very little time to organize something by then.. rather than a crawl we can throw a party on the Pub Crawl page if you like - open a thread just for the hootooversary.. does that sound good?

Do not forget most people here have a very short attention span, Thing is the most busy day on HooToo (at noon sometimes 150 Researchers online) and the friday is a good second.

I think it is time to give a massive party, perhaps not that we have that much to celebrate, as well as to increase the stream of positive behaviour.

I did already start some threads proposing the 28th as a date, on and on some busy conversations. The idea is seeded, not that we have any result.

The seven year celebration is also not mentioned anywhere and I am sure there will be some party.
Anyway I will try to direct some more groups to the Pub Crawl hopefully we get some crawlers . "

We can start a thread on the pub crawl page just to celebrate the anniversary of hootoo then post the link in several busy conversations.. then hope for a bit of 'viral marketing' taking place.. If you want to start a new thread on the pub crawl page to celebrate I'll help you set up the bar and all.. I can probably get a few people over there for a good party..
