Just a quick question - we've just accepted A671988 into the UnderGuide and we're polishing it. Do you want the Agg/Gag account credited for when it hits the front page?
Have a nice day

Yes, I think it's only fair to the readers to mention that it was featured before. But that fact should be stated as a plus, a positive statement of the entry's seasonal virtue and its potential of becoming a timeless classic.

So do you want U187783 credited or a credit in some other form?
No problem, though.
Have happy holidays, good sir!

Well, AggGagCac did 'edit' the piece as it appears at A671988.
But if you're 'polishing' it elsewhere as a new entry then the links in the credits column should say the original piece was 'written and researched' BY gaston and 'edited' BY the UGlies.
I honestly cannot remember what changes we made or who made them but we did clean it up a bit, so if you can include a small mention in your introduction about AggGagCac's having first discovered it, that would suffice.

Okay, so we credit Gaston as author, the polisher as editor (which is what we do anyway) and include in the front page blurb a mention of AggGag/CAC finding it?
No problem. Thanks.

Hmm. I gave specific instructions to our assissting italic, but there seems to have been a breakdown of communication and the AggGag credit has gone missing I don't really know what happened.
Sorry, there. The best I can do now is a credit in our archives, I think.
Key: Complain about this post
