Sorry to return to this subject again, but my key skills rubbish!!! You remember how much work I did on that! (And if you don't, read post 77 on.) Well, the other day I had my keyskills work handed back. Yes, you read that right, HANDED BACK! (Sorry to shout.) ...Because to few people had done them that my school didn't think it was worth marking them!!!
Do they *know* how much work went into that!?
*Breathe Ann. Yes, breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out, and repeat.*
Frees: I had 5 last year and I've got 10 this year! Pure luxury! Couldn't go back to 5 now...
Driving: I'm never going to pass my test! I started learning *last* April and I've not evemn booked my test yet. My friend started learning in September and's got her test already!
I'm calm!

hey every1! how u bin?
i'm sure ul do the test fine when the time comes. just don't panic! and ul pass with flying colours!
school conspiracies still nagging at us. we're being asked to collect evidence for our key-skills-stand-in-thing now. they'd better not hand that back to us at the end of the year!
talking of conspiracies, how do we know that the events in our text books are true neway. afterall, one of the main parts to history GCSE was comparing sources of the same event that were completely different and a lot of them were from school textbooks. i wouldn't be surprised if in 20 years part of our text books showed up for kids to compare and turned out to be govt. rubbish.(not that i'm cynical or paranoid or nething!)
so how was xmas?
Bex
PS mocks! argh!

Hello again! I'm fine, except that I've spent most of the holidays so far revising for four exams in January... *mutter mutter, damn government, etc etc...*
Talking of conspiracies, how do you know we're not in a world like in the Truman Show? Or the Matrix? How do we know we're here at all...?
Actually, I know that they do lie to us on GCSE science. And in A-level, and also (apparantly) they do slightly even at university...!
Damn government...
Christmas I spent thinking "revision", "ought to be revising", "I hate the government", and other thoughts in a similar vein... but apart from the Christmas was /very/ good because I got four Monty Python videos!! ...
<... an unallowable amount of smileys later... >
...
Anyway, how are you?, how was your christmas?, good luck with the mocks, whenever they are!

Heya all!
I spent my entire Christmas holiday thinking "I ought to be doing some work about now..." and proceeded to read The Hobbit and then Lord Of The Rings. Am on volume 3 and have been reading almost non-stop for about two weeks! Tut tut tut to me!
But it's sooooo good!
The conspiracy thing is all too true! Especially if you do Chemistry (I don't btw, but one of my close friends does). In Y7-9 they tell you one thing, in GCSE they tell you, "Well, that wasn't quite true", again in A-Levels they say "What you were told before was actually a load of rubbish" and then in degree level the same happens again! Madness!
I've got an exam coming up... a FINAL exam! *tries not to scream... fails* ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGHH!

Oh yes!
*reminds self yet again to read The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings...*
Yeah, it really is obvious in Chemistry. Honestly we'd only been doing it for a few weeks (five? six? seven maybe?) and suddenly our knowledge of atomic structure was thrown on the ground an stamped on. Big lies they told us in GCSE. Madness? Lunacy!! I blame the government!
It's OK IE! Calm! Breathe!
I have four exams coming up...
