OK
Here goes my first attempt.
I was more than "interested" to come across H2G2.
It seems to me that this site may be somewhat further up the scale of sites indulging in interaction than any other of those which I have, so far, come across. (Actually, to date I have not been involved in a response to any other group on the "Web".)
Presumably, the first requirement of membership is an appreciation of the humour of Douglas Adams. I am more than happy to be included in that group.
However, I would appreciate having someone get back to me to explain a few things.
Firstly, while some "explanations" refer to an "Edit Page" action,
the only likely possible option which I have been able to determine is an "Edit Entry" option. (?)
Secondly, is my entry on this page public?
While I am quite happy to make available quite a lot of information to "moderators" of a site such as this, I am not quite so happy to make these data available to each and every life form in the universe.
"Sorry for the inconvenience" (That was an obvious quote. Unfortunately, I an neither omniscient, omnipotent nor omnipresent.)

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
