WAH!!!
Posted Jun 10, 2003
Well, today was my first "proper" exam: Latin literature, and it was mostly good, only I did the essay question that the three lads didn't do...maybe that was a bad idea, but I felt happier about it than the other one, cos it was on the poetry we'd done and not on the nasty political text about nero and how he kills everyone...maybe that's more appealing to lads? I must keep calm, cos there's nothing I can do about it now... Anyway, at least I finished all the questions on the paper, which is more than some people did! Anyway, am going to have a lie-in tomorrow. But not for long...have to revise modern history (why? why? why????). Medieval is sooooooo much more interesting and easier, but it has to be done.
Farewell for the present...

I've just got back from Greece - all very nice and fun. Especially getting snowed in - I bet there aren't many people who can say they got snowed in in Greece!!! I went to Athens, Delphi and Tolon. I think Delphi was the best, cos that's where the snow was - it was very beautiful, a bit like Narnia. And there was a great bar whcih served us free Ouzo (is that how you spell it?). And now I have to go back to school. But that's ok cos I can see everyone again...I miss them, even though I've just spent a week in Greece with them!

Tonight I'm going out with my mum...this is a first!!! Going to introduce her to the local pubs
Christmas was fun, I believe, except for the many many grandparents (well, only 2 that really behave like grandparents, but it was still tiring!!!)
New Year was fantastic. I went to a party at one of my friend's houses, and there were loads of people, grown up and otherwise, and some very tiny people. We drank and drank and some of us ate, but mostly we drank. I was very daring and stole the !!! ...yeah. Anyway, New Year itself we spent in a misty churchyard listening to the church bells and the Last Post being played by my friend on his bugle. And there was much hugging of random people and singing of Auld Lang Syne. It was GREAT

Well, what can I say? Life is not fantastic but not utterly depressing either, although it is tending towards the latter. However, I did come top in an history essay I did So work: 10 Lovelife: 0 in a sort of Bridget Jones kind of way...I did like that film, because of the gorgeous presence of Colin Firth...
