I did a "lucky dip - numbers chosen by machine" today, for the Irish lottery I do. I did an £11 stake and won £61 so £50 profit (I'm happy at that)

It's Labor Day weekend. not that it makes much difference this year. But a large number of people with boats are having a 'Trumptilla' in Lake Travis in Texas.

Apparently, a lot of the boats are sinking. And they are getting no sympathy from Twitter....

I don't know how much of this is true ? but ANY deformation (if I've got that right ?) of ANY military personnel that's died for their country/active service etc, is "words fail me, or I'd get yiked"

I told mam and dad many years ago, as a kid! If I was physically normal, I'd have joined one of our armed forces when of age...

Never in the course of US politics have so few made such mirth for so many by sinking their recreational boats.

In my early 20'sout on the town (looking for my mates in the pubs) I was stopped by 6 youths intend on nicking my coat to get in a nightclub/disco - hence bluffI put on a drunk persona on looking for my mates as it was THEIR turn for the round
The group said "we'll help you" oh eck!
So we travelled the towns pubs and "these" lot kept buying my whisky (cool) But! Being a good guyI offered to buy a round(I'd won them over) They wouldn't let me and later phew! I saw my mates - the group I was with said go get them and make them pay up---- I did (sort of)
Chuffed that a bluff had worked and also resulted in a free night of whisky
