So, the big deal today is that in the UK and Australia, all the stores are sold out of toilet paper.

Because of the coronavirus. Which makes zero sense!

One Australian was mad because this showed up in OUR news, and it made the Australians look silly.

True. It's also causing hardship on pensioners, who can't afford to hoard, and can't find supplies.

I might write a journal entry on something like, that me and some mates did in a local supermarket many years ago - ie: panic buying

No, I never heard of anybody running out of pepper.
