Hello, EM. I finally made it to your homepage. I was heading here the other day, but h2g2 was very slow that day and I never made it. I see you have been greeted by a few people now . I figured I would tack my message on this thread instead of starting a new one.

The ACE's are "Assistant Community Editors" (I think) and their job is to make new researchers welcome (they may have other duties too - I can't remember). The guardian angels are similar - very helpful for newcomers. H2g2 has a growing list of "orgainzations and clubs" that you can join, although the ACE's are appointed by the Powers That Be (i.e. the guys that officially run this site). The guardian angels are an organization that you are free to join if you wish. You simply have to choose something that you are guardian of. There is a page somewhere containing links to lots of clubs and churches, etc. I'll see if I can find it for you.
