I wish they did as well but we don't get any extra for any of the shifts we do the rate is the same for nights/days/weekends or extra hours.

Its a good job I enjoy what I am doing or I might be tempted to be headhunted by some hi-flying executive who would undoubtably spot my hidden talents. actually they are so well hidden I can't find them myself.

Thought about leaving several times and had some good offers but I actually don't mind the job which is half the battle in my eyes.
It's OK getting paid a great wage for less hours but if you hate what you are doing it seems twice a hard as I have learned from bitter experience.

So 60 hours down and only 24 left, I can almost taste those apples now.

Evening Prof, the nightshift is a bu**er but dayshift I love, wife works full time so we are both at work all day and together all evening. Only my youngest lad at home now and he is 22.

I am a long way past 30 add another 22 years and you will be spot on!
I am a bit of a cradlesnatcher though as wife is only 39, so when I retire I have told her I will go to Spain to live and be a beach bum until she retires! For some reason she seems not to like this idea.

My wife is 40 on January 9th and she doesn't want to be in England for her birthday so I have booked to go to Goa for two weeks,I have to work all over Christmas and New Year. So when everybody is coming back to work on the 5th of January we fly out for some winter sunshine, average temperature 104 degrees which might prove a bit too warm but I am assured there are lots of cool watering holes available.

No dogs now but they used to have Rhodesian Ridgebacks a long time ago but now the security has been beefed up so much.

Me and dogs don't generally get along, wife loves King Charles Spaniels but we both agree it would be unfair to have a dog when we are both out at work.
We have got two cats(sisters) who spend most of the time out in the garden and they tend to look after themselves as long as we feed them they are happy enough to get some attention when they want.

I had a cockatiel up to a few month back(the gruel to be kind job)it was the same, no one to see to her if I went of for a day or two etc

We are OK. with my youngest still at home, and when he finally leaves home (shoehorn required) We have great neighbours.
