Come visit me then!
I'm a bit sore, cycled seven miles (each way) into the nearest larger town yesterday, all up and down hills
And now it appears that I'm duty manager for the day, so I'm trying to balance the tills
How are things with you?

Above my pay grade, unfortunately - that's one of the reasons I'm jealous, it's so much easier for you Europeans to go to a different country - it's next to impossible for me, money- and time-wise!
Have you seen a ghost yet? (Another reason I'm jealous, Brisbane isn't old enough to have any decent ghosts)
I'm doing alright, otherwise. There are worse jobs than working in a pet store (and I've done most of them) so things are going okay. Not great, but okay

That's true, you are a bit isolated down there. It's a long way to swim!
Not seen any ghosts yet, but I was walking over the lawn in the dark the other day (the guides left the costume museum unlocked yet again, so I couldn't set the alarms) and I bumped into something where there was absolutely nothing to bump into
Okay is a step up, right? Hope you find the next step soon!

Exactly, and the only place we can go without a visa is NZ, and that place sucks
*Awesome*! I love stuff like that, I really hope I win the lotto soon so I can get over there!
Yeah, thanks for understanding Life can suck, but things are a thousand times better than they used to be

Sorry about that, things were suddenly very hectic. One of my guides didn't show up for work, so I had to go do the tearoom.
But one of the others said he heard four men talking in the drawing room when he was in the library - and then in the dining room when he was in the drawing room. But there was nobody in there when he looked, and the only way out of there is a secret passage to the office where I'm sitting...
Odd that it should be men, though, because both the official ghost and the other one people say they've seen are female.

Hi Kyra - not heard from you in a while, how are you doing?

Oh, howdy
Sorry. I check hootoo so irregularly now, and my convo list is usually full with journal entries, so I nearly didn't see this message. I'm well, anyway. Just plodding along as usual. Hoping to get a new job (as my current one is paying me for seven hours a week at minimum wage) and a new car (to get to said new job).
Been reading your journal entries, if not commenting, and your life is sounding infinitely more interesting than mine
