Fine, was too depressed to go to the gym though...Went to the pub instead.
May do double tomorrow, may not...

Life takes me like that on the odd day...
I fend it off with beer and humour mostly but I appear to be flagging a bit...
Possibly due to age...
What do I know...?

Hey every one can have an off day now and then ,all part of life, and it makes you appreciate the good days even more
Somerset
Ash Posted Aug 27, 2005
I'm looking forward to having a good day... Can I book them in advance you reckon?
Next Tuesday works for me, failing that I could possibly work it into my busy bad day schedule... Wednesday? I could spare a couple of hours for it...
Somerset
xxxxxxxxxxxx Posted Aug 28, 2005
Gosh we could be on to a great idea ,booking good days in advance do you think the NHS will pay us for them
Wednesdays work for me

Now I'm just spending time wondering what to do...
No work for 3 weeks (unless they desperately need my services) and very little net time ...
To quote my favourite character... "I'll just sit in the corner and rust quietly.."

that will give me nightmares tonight if I can sleep for longer than an hour at a time
I have seen a free range chicken run around a field with no headmy friends Dad has a farm and had to kill one of the old layers but it didn't want to die.He breeds pigs and has the cutest piglets there are

I think the fox broke it's neck some hours before but it just refused to die, maybe an adrenalin thing....
Less than pleasant both for us and the poor bird..

Dad is being a tough independent old swine. My brother is down to accompany his son on the journey home... After drinking 2 bottles of red wine yesterday and having a blazing row with the entire world I have taken the opportunity to spend a day relaxing a my place...
I'm finding the whole thing a tad stressful but such is life...
How is the newly ECDL'd love of my lives?
Somerset
xxxxxxxxxxxx Posted Sep 17, 2005
Am so glad your Dad is feeling better
Two bottles of red wine I bet your good way of de-stressing in the short term.I am not suprised you are stressed out been a bit of a nightmare rollercoaster ride for you, inside you were screaming stop I want to get off I bet.It is something that is difficult to explain to others unless they have had a similar experience.I think you are doing well ,under the circumstances.
I am only partly ECDL'd remember (another 5 exams to go *gulp*) but I am the of your lives
It has been non-stop rain here today, and cold.Caught up with friends at lunch time, and tonight just doing very little for a rare change

Back off to Dad's again in a few ticks, a break to prepare me for the constant sniping and treatment as slave....
When's the next exam?
At least you're done with .xls now aren't you?
Somerset
xxxxxxxxxxxx Posted Sep 18, 2005
with the sniping and slave treatment it really is a good job you are there Ash.Just bite your lip and count to 10 taking deep breaths and if that doesn't work open the wine
Excel still waits ahead for me am afraid my next exam is in about 2 months time

Ask me.
I may tell you to ask someone else but I've been working with this kind of sh1te since I was 14 (a long time ago) I may be able to help or know someone that can....
I'm still on holiday, I may be for the rest of the week.....
Don't expect any sense....
One small worrying thing....
I played my nephew the entire HHGTG cd that I have...
At one stage he said I sound like Marvin.
Not a great worry, I was a bit depressed, I had a pain down all the diodes on left hand side....
I've spoken to him a couple of times since he went home he's always asked me if I was in a "happy" mood... It would be nice to know what I said after that wine but Dad's been moderately nice to me since (ok he hid the shotgun but it came out a day or so ago) and my brother avoids me.....
Somerset
xxxxxxxxxxxx Posted Sep 26, 2005
Don't worry I will ask you about the dreaded excel *gulp*
So you think you have scared your nephew a little then just think of it as introducing him to the real world he will understand one day alas.
Alcohol did the trick then and allowed you to express what you were feeling to your Dad.He probably didn't realise just how bad it has been for you.Your brother well maybe avoiding you is just his way of not dealing with the issuesyou are clearly the stronger person to be honest about your feelings
