Compo here,CK.
Don't know about other Head Of Steam outlets akin to the one you mentioned at Huddersfield Station last year, but the one at Scarborough Station has closed down and the premises are up for letting.Don't suppose you know if the chain has gone broke,do you,as I've been unable to find out anything myself. As an aside,it would be nice to know what happened to the railwayana that was in the premises when it closed.

Alright Compo.
I didn't even know there was one at Scarborough - it's a bit out of my area. I've not heard anything about the Head of Steam, and I've not passed through Huddersfield for a bit. If I hear owt I'll let you know.

Hi CK,
Have recently read in the Ouse Boozer - York CAMRA branches bi-monthly publication - that the Head Of Steam at Scarborough Station closed because of financial and staffing problems. They also mentioned that the Head Of Steam at Huddersfield was still open so you should be ok for a pint or few next time you're over that way. Thanks for saying you'd keep your eyes and ears open for any info,by the way.
Compo.
