Hello everyone, this is caalan21.
How is everybody this evening? A little about myself....hmmm. Well, I am a mid-twenties pre-med/biomedical engineering major living in Dallas, Texas, USA.
I enjoy long walks on the beach and snuggling in front of a fire.... (disregard the last line, sorry)
Anyway, I unfortunately did not realize the treasure trove that DNA had provided us with in the Hitchhiker's Guide, et al until he had left us, and this is a very sore spot with me. Oh, well.
I am greatly interested in science and tech (obviously), ethics, history, philosophy, psychology, traveling across the world, and just about any old thing there is to talk about.
I hope to post my first entry soon, perhaps something about things to do or places to see in D/FW (Dallas/Fort Worth, or the metroplex for all of you not from here) so keep looking.
I want to warn everyone, however, I do enjoy playing Devil's Advocate, so beware, I may not actually believe anything that I am writing, you'll have to ask me later (I might be able to tell you, or not, it just depends on the day and which side I am arguing that day)
Well, that's enough for now. In the spirit of DNA I'll just grab my towel, avoid my accountants, and head into the field for a little 'research'.
