Four days off with the most foul cold/cough. The novelty of it all has worn off somewhat, I must say, and daytime tv really is still a pile of poop, even with satellite...
Fox's new channl, FX, advertised with much pomp, concerns itself with showing, in order;
Lost in Space
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea
Batman
Land of the Giants (neatly answering the question as to why nobody has attempted to revive it yet)
Really, if this is the next big step in TV, then I despair...

Dagnamit being ill sucks... I am also ill at the moment and have been off all week ill. I must agree about the rubbishness of daytime TV.
On the plus side being ill does make you appreciate being well again when you get better!

Do not mock Land of the Giants. Happy memories of Sunday lunch time on C4 when I was little. Or, at least, littler than I am now.

It's great. And should be watched frequently just for the funky music. Plus everytime you watch it you can cling to the hope that this ep's going to be the one where that bloody dog gets squashed under a giant's heel.

Well, combats and big boots, but she does TLC very well.
Actually feel much better today but still didn't feel like going to work. Don't want to stand around on chilly railway platforms and give my germs to co-workers.

Yeah, feels very odd doing all that 'hey, do you like...?' stuff after so long, but at the same time it's kind of exciting, you know.
No pre-conceived ideas, no idea what the answer will be. It's fun.
