Dearie me, you might have known that my fanclub would eventually devolve into discussions of the fetishistic uses of sports wear and school uniforms...

You have to pace these things, you know. Besides, there are depths yet to plumbed, believe you me...
Bear in mind I only bought the leather trousers to get into the Torture Garden...

You're obsessed with those ruddy trousers aren't you? And you don't have to take to me about depths mate- some of us keep a personal planner just to keep track of sex lives Granted I'm so absent minded I use personal planner to keep track of people's names, but still...

Actually, no, I'm not obsessed with them. I was making a point is all.
I use personal planners for nothing and nobody, much to the annoyance of friends, colleagues, management. It adds a little fisson of unpredictability that i find quite gratifying...

Well, by personal planner I mean 'tatty bits of paper'. Last year I forgot Bruce's birthday. That did not go down well.

I always forget my sister-in-laws. Which is ok because it effectively means she gets two birthdays .
Otherwise I'm very good on birthdays - I even remember the flatmates...

I can remember Mum's, Dad's, my cousin's and my own, that's it. The last threee just because they fall so close- 1st 5th and 11th November.

Yes, don't forget my dad's birthday
Actually, not at all, I just realised I ought to explain why I could remember a fairly distant relation's birthday and not my partner's.

Fairy enough. My mates have had to get used to an absented minded "oh, was it, Happy Birthday then. Tell you what, I'll get you a pint".

Certainly. Can't drink a card. Mind you, can't keep a pint, but I think I'll take the pleasure over the permamence, on this matter at least.

Jack in the Green read and commented on, as requested...
Cards aren't very permamnent anyway - unless the sentiment expressed is important, I find I keep them and then find them in 18 months and throw them out. Unless they are my mums - she cross stitches all of hers...

Hmm, I know what you mean. I usually intend to keep them, then find myself chucking them in a tidying spree.

Ah, tidying spree. Been doing a biot of that myself recently.
Funny thing, actually. When I moved all my stuff to Mina's, I generated a huge number of cardboard boxes of stuff, and about five dust-bin sacks of rubbish.
Now I've moved all my stuff *back* from Mina's, I have the same number of cardboard boxes, and have generated another three dustbin sacks full of rubbish...

That just means you have a highly active crap-field. I have discovered that seemingly without moving anything new into the Summer House, I'm still creating a sea of rubbish around the edges
