Go and see. Disney and McD's have been in cahoots for so long it was bound to be a tie in promotional thing, but it's still a wonderful movie, with Johnny Depp's 'Keith Richards as a pirate captain' performance just getting better the second time around.
And yes, it is Thomas Dolby...

Well, I prefered to go and see a movie I'd already seen to the idea of any of the other tripe on offer, so essentially it was a case of going for the craic, especially as the FM had out off going during the day because he knew I wanted to see it...

I don't think I've ever seen a film twice at the cinema, but the number of times I've watched some of the stuff in my video/DVD colelction beggars belief.

I used to do it quite a lot when the aged parents were of a mind to go to the cinema more often. I'd go and see something and if I thought they'd like it, take them the next wweek or something.

Ahh. Never something I've had to do. My father always falls asleep in cinemas, and it's ages since me and my mother have been to see something together. In fact, the last film we saw at the cinema together was Labyrinth.

My aged P's used to be great cinema goers - 2 to 3 times a week during the fifties. As they got older they went less often but they still enjoy it, if it's the right film.
