hate that, when all that's ever on is bloody sport

yeah, so irritating, especially when they take good shows off for yet more boring sport. The other night they did that to Malcom in the Middle. I was very angry indeed....

Malcolm in the Middle rocks They always take it and the Simpsons off for the bloody snooker and it being the most boring sport in the world and usually coinsiding with the cricket (don't like it either) usually means that for months there's nowt on.
Luckily I don't really watch that much telly, my CD player on the other hand is always on and despite it being 10:28 in the morning over here and me sleeping in it's been on since half seven
Spent all day yesterday tidying my bedroom and now it's scarily tidy, I mean all the surfaces are cleared, piles of magazines have been tidied away and the only thing looking remotly messy is my CD collection because I can't be bothered just yet taking all of them down to sort them into alphabetical order (yes I am that sad but I love CD's and I have a really large collection meaning that when they're ordered I can actually get to them easily)
but is half term in SCotland now so my holiday's going to be spent working on my art stuff very exciting as you can imagine
Really need to get into town, and need to get some cash, cause there's a disco for Haloween at school and we're all dressing up, still don't know what to go as but never mind, that and I need to waste nearly all of my monthly allowance on art supplies...maybe should bum a loan off the rents
god I've written a lot, think I'm in one of those babbly modes today, which is always interesting, especially as I was fairly monosolabic yesterday.
oh well TTFN

Wish that we had a haloween disco... my friends were considering going goth for a while, starting on haloween...but they seem to have abandoned the idea when they couldn't find any black lipstick
This is the last lot of holidays before I go to Italy, so I am in the process of tidying up my room too, but it always seems that when I try to tidy it it just gets messier...why is that? Anyhow, this also means that I have found a lot of old stuff in my draws that is in desperate need of sorting out, or thowing away...
Trying desperatly to avoid doing a science assignment, because we have an english one that is far more interesting...ugh...

I like your new nickname, Em...I read a book with a girl whose name was serendipity ages and ages ago, and have always toyed with the idea that if I ever have kids I'll name one of the girls serendipity...it's got a cool meaning too....

Is em your real name?
I used to hate my real name quite abit, until one day a guy quoted a line from Romeo and Juliet to me that went something like..."...A rose is just as sweet by any other name..."...then I didn't mind it quite so much...hehehee...

So your name's Rose
If it is I think it's a really nice name
Yes Emily (Em) is my real name
Only thing people can quote with my name is a Pink Floyd song
I wish someone was able to quote Shakespeare at me like that
I love Shakespeare, and can quote lots from Romeo and Juliet and even more from A Midsummer Nights Dream...
"If we spirits have offended, think but this and all is mended, that you have but slumbered here while these visions did appear, and weak and idle theme, no more yealding, but a dream."

That's impressive! I haven't really read much shakespeare, just a little of Romeo and Juliet, but apart from that, not anything else. I have a friend who can almost do hamlet's soliloquie (spelling...ugh), so that's pretty cool.
We have Presentation Night in around a week, which is where the entire school is conned into going into the Perth Concert Hall and watching some pointless drama stuff, some pointless dance stuff, some pointless music stuff...(next bit said with much much sarcasism) and oh, I almost forgot, get the academic awards for the year... although, the focus never really seems to be on this, despite it being the entire reason for the thing to even take place...*glares at stupid school*. Anyhow, the upshot is that it usually goes until around 11 O'Clock (Principal's speech averages 45 min), and we get half of the next day off school (yay!). Also, there is the anticipation of who is getting which awards, and if one is getting any awards etc. etc... There's only one award per subject per year level, and one dux (top) of the year...*starts stressing already*
