Funny how albums do that. I also find that sometimes, I really regret buying a CD, and don't listen to it for months and months, and then one day just am itching to listen to it, and it becomes my favourite for a while. Alex Lloyd is like that (he's an Australian, though, I think that he has released his stuff in the uk, I'm not sure...)

We have just got into the time of year where we are getting loads of assessments and tests....I feel so very busy!!!

God I hate that time.

I wonder why they always decide to give us assessments due in on the same week? Why can't they just spread them out throughout!!!

It's like as soon as the word exam is heard by the teachers they not only pile up the homework but the tests so you don't have any spare time that isn't revolving around revision.

Like dancing lessons. Twice a week, we are shipped off to our brother school (I go to an all girls college), to apparently "learn how to dance". Last night we did the Jive, and it was boys turn to pick partners, and I think that I got the rudest, grottiest, most un-co guy there. He didn't seem to realise that when the girls turn left, the boys have to move their right shoulder. You can imagine....

Don't get me onto Social Dancing, I always end up with guys a foot shorter and complete geeks

Yeah...or guys who missed the last lesson and don't know any of the dances...or guys who are more interested in how far they can get their hands down one's backside before one does slap them across the face. The stupidity of it all...it should be banned...

At least - I hope - when you do social dancing you don't have to do scottish social dancing, or in other words dances such as the gay gordons, the flying scotsman, the barn dance, something to do with catherine wheels and then there are loads of others.

No, thank god...but we do have to do the jive, and the 'Mar-an-gay' (don't know how it's spelt, that's just me trying to spell phonetically) which involved some very *cough* sus moves. Ugh.

Completely differently, my team and I had our regional final of tournament of minds on saturday...results should be out in 3 hours...keep your fingers crossed for us: We won our state final last year and got to go to the nationals, but all we have to do to get into states is be in the top three teams...

Yay Yay Yay! We got into the state finals! Yay! They're on this Sunday, and we will know if we won or not that night at the presentation ceremony. I am rather very nervous, because if we win, we get to go to Melbourne...

On sunday, we basically have to do the same kind of thing that we did in six weeks in three hours *very stressed look*, but we won last year and went to Hobart, so we should do fairly well.
