So how are you today?

Today was the first day in a long time I have decided was worth the adjective beautiful.

And then I realized how much work I had to start at 10:20 pm...

How was your day?

Take a look at my journal... But I'm feeling better now (I may elaborate tomorrow, but if I do it now, I'll get all depressed again... Or an explanation can be found if you lurk over the discussion we had Sunday in my fan club...)

I don't want to seem like a jerk in asking this, but do you think maybe you could elaborate tomorrow since I'm kinda swamped with work at the moment and am so tired that if I were to sift through backlog I'd pass out immediately...?

But I'm glad you're feeling better, and I also wanted to let you know that I know exactly what it feels like to come to the realization that there is a great possibility you'll never get to see some of your best friends that you've made here. I would have replied at your journal for that entry, but when I reached it there were 20 replies and I couldn't help but shy away...

OK, I'll tell you tomorrow... Remind me...

It's just that I didn't want to barge in like some goofy idiot when a conversation had already gone underway...

And I was afraid that what I would say would have already have been said and there would be this eery silence until you posted another journal entry and that would be the end of it.

What have I become? I'm losing my art at socializing in large groups and can hardly keep up with half the fan clubs I've subscribed to...

You mean as I'm losing shyness, you're getting more shy? Strange... And don't worry about repeating what someone else has said... As long as you mean it... I've been known to make an utter fool of myself in the quest to make someone feel better... As long as I can get someone who's hurting, physically or otherwise, to , , , or even just have one corner of their mouth twitch upward momentarily, I don't mind looking dumb... (I've also been known to end every sentence in a post with ellipses...)

How would you feel about continuing this conversation tomorrow? I'd like to, but if you'll please excuse me for the night, I think I ought to get to my warm fluffy bed and get some sleep before I end up passing out over the keyboard and waking up with a checkerboard face...

Oh, pretty normal... (In other words, fine) I can't stay on much longer tonight though--I've got a bathroom to clean and a gym to go to... And my connection is annoyingly slow...

Are you just busy? Well, I'll go ahead and elaborate on that journal entry now, even though you didn't remind me...

You see, my mother died a year ago last April, and so this will be the second Christmas without her, so that's got me pensive once in a while... And the Sunday before I wrote that entry, it occurred to me that, if Mom were still with us, this past week would have been her and my stepdad's 25th anniversary, and this year, I would have been able to afford to do something special for them... So Wednesday was hard for me...

I am going to be rather busy from now on meaning I'll probably only get about 20 minutes of online time at most during the week and a few hours at most during the afternoon on the weekend...

But now to more important matters...

I can only imagine how hard that must have been on you. I'm sure, though, that you're mother knew that if you could have afforded to do something special in the past, although it wasn't a landmark anniversary like the 25th, you would have, and that in itself is more than anyone could ever really ask of daughter or son or anyone for that...
