I try my hardest to say the right thing in order to cheer up my friends on the rare chance that something bad happens to them, leaving me to only hope that what I do say really does come out as well as it would if I were to say it without this barrier of a computer screen. But luckily I always mean what I say when I'm telling someone how much they mean to me or if I'm trying to be, not only a sympathizer, but a friend at the same time...

So in short, you're more than welcome, Amy. Anything I can do to help is well worth it when concerning a friend


By the way, regarding the paper lady bit, that is the greatest idea ever and in the spring of 2001 when I first really became involved with h2g2 I had always wanted to scan in a drawing of myself that people might be able to just prop on a table or something during the meets in Britain. And then I found out you'd been doing it the whole time which just makes you all the more cooler.
What kinda sucks, though, is that I don't think that it would fly if I were to do the same since it would obviously be seen as a horrible imitation since you've made appearances all over the British front. So really I'll just stop rambling like a fool and kinda change the subject by drinking a smiley;

Well, considering that I got the idea from seeing a sketch of Mark Moxon in the Spring Onion photos, and have offered to do a portrait of Amy+ (if she remembers to email me a photo) for January, after I saw that she was going to have one of the Thingites print out a photo of her, I don't think it'd be 'a horrible imitation' if you did it, and I'd argue vociferously (oo, big word after 5 hours of sleep) with anyone who said anything. The only thing is, do you mind if people get up to stuff with your sketch?

I wouldn't mind in the least bit if people did stuff with my sketch, although I've never been that spectacular a drawer and if I were to draw my own sketch it would look like crap (small word after three hours of sleep )

IRL I've been writing this essay for the past five days and I can't go any farther as I've had a writer's block but I'm nowhere near done and I was informed a few minutes ago that I have to attend this cocktail party in the next three hours which there is no way of getting out of and will take away precious writing time...

Well, right this exact moment, I'm listening to Tom in the shower, waiting for it to be time to go to church... the water just stopped

Yesterday, I got to speak with 2legs on the phone again (an hour and a half this time!) and a friend of ours that we haven't seen in ages came over, and left early this morning. I was on h2g2 until a ridiculously late hour, and got up at 8. I got a message from the WLC So a good weekend, so far, except I've really got to do laundry today (and what's worse, iron) because I don't have any work clothes left...

I know the voice of only one researcher (other than myself, of course) and we could only talk for fifteen minutes...

*sigh*

I haven't been doing anything lately. I just come home from school and work and so I've become terribly bored and so maybe this party isn't going to be so bad after all.

I have seen great movies recently, though. Goodfellas, Spy Game, Snatch, and Pi. A bit too violent for my comfort, but good movies nevertheless.

Can I possibly interest you in some ?

I wouldn't get jealous, but I would feel pretty bad about it as probably the only reason why I haven't talked to as many people as you have is due to the fact that you seem to be a lot more fun to talk to than I am.

Since I'm not exactly sure how to change that bit about myself, I suppose I'll just have to learnt to live with it...

Oh, and I talked to Suz for all of fifteen minutes...

I'm *not* interesting... I don't care what everyone says... *I'm* the one that's right... (Which is remarkably what I put in the really long subject line of the thread I started on Suz's space last night/this morning...)

Anyway, I don't really do much talking on the phone... I tend to be more of a listener... And laugher (especially with 2legs!)

I'm so happy, that I've been frolicking around my house and felt to so light as the burden of redemption crave had been on my shoulders for so long and now was finally lifted off, so I filled my bathtub with water and tried to walk on it but fell through and got all wet.
