Regarding LCHF - you might have use for a *small* frying pan for those mornings that you just cook breakfast for yourself (unless the rest of your family eat LCHF too). In my experience, a small pan heats up faster, and a two-egg-omelette doesn't get quite as thin as it would in a bigger pan.
Here's a great site with recipes in Swedish:
http://www.lchfmat.com/
After a little more than six months into LCHF, I noticed a dip in my mood. This mystified me a bit, since the food I eat contain quite a lot of tryptofan, which will raise your levels of serotonin.
And then, luckily, I stumbled over this thread:
http://kolhydrater.ifokus.se/Forum/Read.aspx?ThreadId=06624f32-c9b2-4f6e-a7c7-be1975482930
So now I eat a half 'new' potato before going to bed, with a little herbal salt sprinkled on top. I've only been doing it for a few days, so too early to tell if it has any effect.

How interesting!
Since I'm home for about two awake hours a day at the moment, (including mornings...) I don't shop and cook at all as I want to. As a result, I eat what I find, including bread, some potato for lunch and so on. I try to avoid large amounts of pasta, bread, potatoes, and I try to nab the fattier meats and sauces when possible, but it's not orthodox at all.
But that link makes sense. Enzymes probably need several sorts of stuff to build the right molecules.
I hope it helps you!
And soon, my life will calm down.
Now to combine my desire for LCHF, with daughters wish for vegetarianism (but thank BoB with eggs!) and the Delsbo's low cal (esp low fat) recent fad...
Son will eat most stuff I feed him, thankfully!

Jonas Colting eats considerably less carbs than your average triathlete, but not quite LCHF (on the other hand, his body uses up tons of energy compared to a regular person). And yet, he and his team mate won.

Regarding your 's allergy problem - you might want to put her on LCHF, believe it or not.
Here's a catfood that has been recommended at kolhydrater-i-fokus:

And here's a site about making your own BARF cat food:

Thanks, I'll give it a thought...
If I could only be sure she doesn't eat out, it would be easier. But it doesn't feel fair to lock her up indoors, when she's used to being out.
I'll check the links at home, if I can hog the computer for a minute.

Hej, have you seen the first episode of the new season of 'Så mycket bätrre'?
I think it's great, so much fun, and such good artists - just idea of combining Thomas Ledin, Eva Dahlgren, Mikael Wiehe, E-type, Timbuktu and Laleh... Oldies and young'uns.
The first episode is still viewable at tv4 play dot se:

First episode is now available only if you pay, but the second episode is up.
And it feels soooo great to watch so many talented people enjoying the performances of the others - check out Mikael Wiehe, who - so far - seems to be in 7th heaven most of the time...

Ohhh, I missed the free period! But it seems I can see pieces? Off to look.
Timbuktu is a friend of my R's - Timbuktu's mum was "hemspråkslärare" for R's children. I've not met him though, just his mum.
Lovely, thanks!

I remember Rocktåget - Thomas Ledin and Niklas Strömstedt had reservations in the hotel where I was working at the front desk (I think Lena Ph had some relatives to stay with while in Eskilstuna).
Thomas politely introduced himself saying he had a reservation. My colleague checked him in and handed over the key (in those days, it was keys, not cards) and then Niklas, who was leaning on the counter on his elbows, with his back towards my colleague, simply stretched out a hand for his key, without even bothering to turn around.
Where upon my colleague (who was a bit of a *itch at times) asked:
'And what is your name?'
Thomas let out a and Niklas, embarrassed, told her his name.
Ah yes... she was a bit rough around the edges, my colleague, but we two got along just fine - I accepted her roughness, and she accepted my weirdness - good grief, I was odd even way back when...

Holy crap - did you see how Eva managed to get Stellan Skarsgård into her (way back when) music video?
And Thomas Ledin is looking gooooood....

Oh, that's cheap!
It's the NaJoPoMo, isn't it?
You don't *have to read them all right now, we (the particpants) are planning on creating entries like this A87721194 to help people catch up with our journals postings in due time. No hurry,

NaJoPoMo, yes, but lots in Ask and announcements too.
It's good, but it's busy. And I don't read a fraction...

'Snö' is the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gH-nywfotBc
Like a Swedish version of Björk, although she is originally from Iran.
