Oh, Hi supersissi, and welcome!

You have made a good start, telling us some things about yourself, and I can see that you already know how to make smilies!

I can't quite remember how I did all the things on my space, and it took me several years to try the more exciting things. For a long while it was only text and smilies smiley - smiley

See you soon!

Thank you for your mail. It's a great thing for me, to chat with others in English, and it's very interesting at this place. I determined to let my introduction like it is, because I'm not a computer-expert. I rather write to a conversation. smiley - biggrin
Now I will take asmiley - tea and a piece ofsmiley - cake. Wish you a good time.
See you soon
Bye

Have you found any interesting conversations yet? The Ask forum is always a fun place, I think, even if I choose not to follow all the threads...

Hi
I have found the miscallaneous chat and have looked in the ask forum.
Where can I find another conversation forum?
And I see always first, when the conversation started and have to scroll to the last postings. Is this so oder is there a trick to see automatically the last mails?
Is there a list about the different forums?

If you open My conversations, by clicking the link to the left, for each conversation there are several options...
If you click the name of the conversation, you will come to the first post.
If you click new posts, you will come to the first posts you have not read before.
If you click the time described beside Latest post: yóu will come to the very latest post in the discussion.

I will check out about a list of forums...

Different forums...

Well on the front page, far down right, you will find "h2g2 Community Bookmarks" where some forums are listed...

Also for every single entry, there will be discussions "hanging" off the page, so you are not limited to the forums. Same thing for every single user page and journal... So you can talk to people most everywhere!

There is also Peer review, where you can comment on entries (articles) which are being polished to be included in the "edited guide". If you haven't started writing articles yet, that is a good place to learn about what a good entry can look like.

Now, what more can I think about? Let's leave that until later!

Hi Milla
hope you are ok. Thank you for the message.
I have looked there.
Sometimes I am posting a conversation. But at some conversation I have trouble to understand. It is real English wordplay.

I don't go everywhere, but I can understand that wordplay is hard! It really takes training to get it!

I forget, what do you do in life otherwise?

Good, fun is the best way to learn! Have you met other German people here yet? Malabarista and her mum, Yarreau, are really nice people! And so is B'Elana. I can't remember who else is from Germany right now. But actually, it doesn't really matter.

Where in Germany do you live? What's it like there?

Hi
sorry i read your message now. Yesterday I visited the famous "Wartburg" in Eisenach, where Martin Luther lived. It was very interesting. A weekend trip is a little holiday too. Sometimes is enough to make clear the head. Do you live in sweden, don't you? It is a wonderful country, where a lot of Germans got to holiday.smiley - smiley

Yes, I live in Lund, in the south of Sweden. And we do have lots of German visitors - perhaps not so much in my town, as in the cottages around the country. smiley - biggrin
Have you been in Sweden?
