Oh, Hi supersissi, and welcome!
You have made a good start, telling us some things about yourself, and I can see that you already know how to make smilies!
I can't quite remember how I did all the things on my space, and it took me several years to try the more exciting things. For a long while it was only text and smilies
See you soon!

Thank you for your mail. It's a great thing for me, to chat with others in English, and it's very interesting at this place. I determined to let my introduction like it is, because I'm not a computer-expert. I rather write to a conversation.
Now I will take a and a piece of. Wish you a good time.
See you soon
Bye

Have you found any interesting conversations yet? The Ask forum is always a fun place, I think, even if I choose not to follow all the threads...
Hello Milla
supersissi Posted May 20, 2009
Hi
I have found the miscallaneous chat and have looked in the ask forum.
Where can I find another conversation forum?
And I see always first, when the conversation started and have to scroll to the last postings. Is this so oder is there a trick to see automatically the last mails?
Is there a list about the different forums?
Hello Milla
Milla, h2g2 Operations Posted May 20, 2009
If you open My conversations, by clicking the link to the left, for each conversation there are several options...
If you click the name of the conversation, you will come to the first post.
If you click new posts, you will come to the first posts you have not read before.
If you click the time described beside Latest post: yóu will come to the very latest post in the discussion.
I will check out about a list of forums...

Different forums...
Well on the front page, far down right, you will find "h2g2 Community Bookmarks" where some forums are listed...
Also for every single entry, there will be discussions "hanging" off the page, so you are not limited to the forums. Same thing for every single user page and journal... So you can talk to people most everywhere!
There is also Peer review, where you can comment on entries (articles) which are being polished to be included in the "edited guide". If you haven't started writing articles yet, that is a good place to learn about what a good entry can look like.
Now, what more can I think about? Let's leave that until later!

Hi Milla
hope you are ok. Thank you for the message.
I have looked there.
Sometimes I am posting a conversation. But at some conversation I have trouble to understand. It is real English wordplay.
Hello Milla
Milla, h2g2 Operations Posted May 28, 2009
I don't go everywhere, but I can understand that wordplay is hard! It really takes training to get it!
I forget, what do you do in life otherwise?
Hello Milla
supersissi Posted May 29, 2009
Hi
I work as an clerk in a company produces furniture. I don't need English for the job, because I am responsible for Germany.
I'm training just for fun.

Good, fun is the best way to learn! Have you met other German people here yet? Malabarista and her mum, Yarreau, are really nice people! And so is B'Elana. I can't remember who else is from Germany right now. But actually, it doesn't really matter.
Where in Germany do you live? What's it like there?
Hello Milla
supersissi Posted Jun 7, 2009
Hi
I live in Bavaria, in a village surrounded by hills and forests. It is a lovely place but now cold and cloudy.
You have to know, I'm back from holiday. My husband and I were in Italy, it was really beautiful and we had a very sunny weather.
Hello Milla
Milla, h2g2 Operations Posted Jun 8, 2009
Oh, I want to go on holiday too! I log for Provence and Camargue, I love it there. But I also want to see Austria and Bavaria, and Italy and Spain, and...
very frustratingly, I have not much money, so will have to stay home.
Hello Milla
supersissi Posted Jun 9, 2009
I'm sorry you can't go on holiday! But at home can be nice, too.
Maybe you will travel next year? I intend to visit all european capitals. Every year another capital.
I hope I will do and that don't happen any trouble.
Hello Milla
Milla, h2g2 Operations Posted Jun 10, 2009
I hope next year too. And maybe, maybe a weekend trip somewhere.
I need to check my passport! It may have expired!

Hi
sorry i read your message now. Yesterday I visited the famous "Wartburg" in Eisenach, where Martin Luther lived. It was very interesting. A weekend trip is a little holiday too. Sometimes is enough to make clear the head. Do you live in sweden, don't you? It is a wonderful country, where a lot of Germans got to holiday.
Hello Milla
Milla, h2g2 Operations Posted Jun 12, 2009
Yes, I live in Lund, in the south of Sweden. And we do have lots of German visitors - perhaps not so much in my town, as in the cottages around the country.
Have you been in Sweden?
