Elico, I have to let you know that BluD's computer is currently out of action. However, I have it on good authority that she has in fact met an amazing man and has decided to pull the plug on H2G2. As is always the case with such things, it will be a brief interlude and I am sure she will be back soon, to gratefully acknowledge your compliments.

In addition to having my powercord broke, and working on battery power only; in addition to being 'up nort' sanding, an' sanding, an' sanding; in addition to having to deal with Solstice celebrations, shopping, parties, etc., etc.; new millenniums; I have ALSO been unable to get to h2g2 at various times during the last few days *sob*

So the total result of all of this is that I am a somewhat confused and disoriented dragon. dunno if I am coming or going...or what day it is or anything. I DO know that my Macintosh works fine. except for the powercord [which I broke by closing the cover on it] and it seems to think that it is the year 2000! Imagine that??!!

So I guess it IS the year 2000.
So... happy 2000. And we will work from there to pick up the pieces.

Well you see, at first. Well, what I mean to say is that in the beginning, well, you know. And then, well then you hit about 17 and you start to think, well. Um, anyway, until you're about 26, ahem. Well. And then the century changes and, erm, well... anyway.... what I mean to say is *looks quizzicly at banner*

(aHEM). billypilgrim has decided that perhaps she is not the proper person to orient anyone to anything (being a bit "unstuck" in time herself, as it were). Therefore, with all do respect, she is handing this program over to Anonymouse. Under the conditions that she gets to keep the banner AND at least one of the trumpets.

*ahem* .. Anyway.. *takes the tiny, folded program and begins to read* Oh.. and sure, you can keep the banner (providing you don't leave the party) and all the trumpets you want.. HRH there has heard so many they're giving her a headache anyhow, and mine's beginning to be inclined to agree (or is that to a degree? -- No, it only -should- be inclined to a degree. *sigh*)

I don't know.... leave you three alone for a few days and what do I find has been going on ... rambling nonsense.
