(a lot) better than the bible
I mean, he wrote the GUIDE. Words fail me. I'm 21, and when I was 18 someone told me to read everything he ever wrote, said it imparted more wisdom than the bible. I bought the More-Than-Complete bound edition which included Mostly Harmless, read the entire tome in about a day and a half. It is still my favorite body of work. I've since read just about everything else Adams has written (I think): the Dirk Gently mysteries and Last Chance to See.So I'm really excited about the prospect of a web-based true Hitchhiker's Guide to the Earth. I'm very unused to straight-forward journalistic writing, so it may be some time before I submit anything. Current possibilities for submission include the G8 and geo-economics (why the distinction between North and South, and Monroe Doctrine, is more important than that of East and West, and the Pellopenesian War, respectively). Anyway, great to be here. I had almost given up on the internent in its current form as a conduit for meaning and truth until I linked here from Adams' site. Enjoying the work of researchers, looking forward to presenting work of my own. Ta. :-)
