Hello. Did you know that youre journal just turned up in the Top 5 busiest conversations on the front page?
This may happen all the time of course, but I'm impressed!

I've no idea, but there it was -
5 busiest converstions, number 4 in the list:
'Everything I want to bother writing about myself just now'
I didn't know what it was, clicked on it, and it turned out to your journal.
I should have taken a screenshot. Damn.

You should certainly whack something in your tagline.

Cool. Look to the left (you may have to scroll up), click 'My Preferences', add something in the box that says 'nickname' (it probably just says Malabarista at the moment) and click 'Update Details'.
That's how I got the 'starting to worry about SAFC' after my name.

Right, thanks! I've not even been on here long enough to have figured it all out, and I'm famous already!

Coolm I just saw you were born here in Germany - where, exactly?

Primeval Mudd (formerly Roymondo) Posted Sep 4, 2005
Wegberg (northern Germany I think), and spent a couple of years in Krefeld. I don't remember much of it, I was about 6 when I left!

Yeah, I know what you mean - I also left Germany, at 7, and only came back when I was 15!

Oops, sorry, I missed your reply. For reasons which I shan't relate I was reading the 'Penis' backlog. All 3300+ posts of it. Lordy!
I wish I'd been in Germany when I was a bit older. I know from my Dad's Super8 footage (good old proper reel to reel film, no less) that it is a beautiful country, but I was way too young to appreciate it.
And Bavaria was heavenly.
I might have told you this before, or it might have been B'Elana.

If my Dad's footage is anything to go by I loved Bavaria (lots of footage of me tottering about as a 4 year old wqith a *huge* grin on my face). I remember going up The Eagle's Nest when I was a bit older (well, about six), and taht is a view I still remember first hand. Spectacular. I wasn't aware of the history of the place at that time though.
I heard that the original buildings were being replaced by a hotel complex. Do you know if that happened? Or has it been left as the historically important landmark that it was?
(Here's hoping The Eagle's Nest is actually in Bavaria. If not, I'll feel a bit of a twit!)
