Hmm, I wouldn't trust eBay at all especially not with electrical stuff. I know this sounds like a long list of excuses but it's not! I may try the local computer shops, they may have cheaper ones.

I got my scanner with my old computer, the one my parents gave me for a graduation gift. New computer by now, but the scanner is still going strong!

I got Vista when I won my laptop which isn't as useful as a scanner

I think I may be slowly killing bits of my computer through treating it as a desktop more than a laptop

I have both. I prefer to work on the desktop - big screen, proper graphics card, useful keyboard, and all that - but I have to take a computer with me pretty often.

Proper desktop coming soon (hopefully if i don't spend all my money)

Unfortunately this laptop has to be plugged in all the time as I've killed the battery

And judging by the odd sounds my speakers are making (no it's not my music) i may need new ones as well. May have to get an 7:1 set then

If you asked my mum she'd say the same about my music, but she's just doesn't appreciate my music. Especially not when it's turned up loud, there's some weird people around
