I was good at it too, I'm good at a lot of things. I just hated it. why do people assume that the reason someone hates a subject is tht they're not good at it? Actually, I couldn't stand all the die's der's dem's etc, and i couldn't get my head round the numbers. I prefer southern european languages, like French and Spanish, both of which I am doing for gcse

I sort of understand the ders dies dems dasses etc and the numbers are easy I think. Maybe because I can count (to ten) in Dutch as well.

*wipes dribble away and stops growling* yes well. i've never done german but i do welsh as a first language as well as english and i do french. i think that is definitley enough languages for ne 1 person and i am being far too serious so now i am going.

I don't do Welsh, I go to a private school. When you say you do Welsh as a first language do you mean as a first other language, or are all your lessons in welsh and stuff?

yeah all my lessons are in welsh. have you ever tried learning french through welsh????????????? ah. no. silly question really. oh the fun i've had. oh well ne'er mind.

Blimey! that sounds difficult! I read about an advert in a paper once which said "french teacher needed, to teach in Welsh". Surely it would be better if it was taught in French?
