Note to self (part 2)
Posted Jul 26, 2005
There I was, weeks back, saying (and I quote):
>>Must look into this whole Underguide business.<<
Now it turns out the UG has been looking into me (F74130?thread=653547#p7736027 ).
I secretly wondered if they might like to let me read them some of my poetry. I even created another version of myself (U1673988) to 'write' the aforementioned poetry.
And then, the UG come and pick one of _my_ bits of stuff. Something, I hasten to add, I knocked up in a few minutes and only hurriedly posted in response to one of those Front Page weekly discussions which just happened to be on meeting celebs (F2100104?thread=642429 ).
My other self is a bit annoyed, but doesn't mind this too much. We're now admitting we know each other on our Personal Spaces, which is a step in the right direction, we think.

Big Issue
Posted Jul 21, 2005
I buy Big Issue. I think it's important. I buy it every week. I sometimes buy the same issue of Big Issue more than once a week. I rarely read it. But I always buy it. Because I think it's important.
Now, the problem:
On my lunchtime 'patch' there are half a dozen Big Issue 'vendors'. They sometimes move around and appear outside a different shop or at the end of a different arcade. So I tend to make my purchase from the first guy/girl I come across. That's just me being lazy.
So, the question:
Should I try to ensure that each week a different vendor gets my £2.40 (or £3 if they "keep the change"), or should I choose one, and give my relatively-easily-earned cash to the same guy/girl each week?
Can't decide.

You may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist (part 2)

The thing about h2g2 is that it's so big (Really big. "You just won't believe how vastly hugely mindbogglingly big it is...", etc)
The other thing I meant to do on my first or second day in here was my h2g2 code block. Well, I've finally got round to it...
----BEGIN H2G2 CODE BLOCK----
Version: 1.1
RGB Y-- N-(+) SB(+)(A)(P+)(G)>G+ A+(> P+:- L>- M s V- E->+ PR p+>++ !a B++ TV+ r+() D T- nh? C+@ m-- t
-----END H2G2 CODE BLOCK-----

Note to (other) self
Posted Jul 7, 2005
Having spent some time trying to be subscribed to PR and AWW, I realise that I can't be in two places at the same time...
So, I've deleted my poor excuse for poetry entries (and am left with just 3 again, which seems a bit sparse). And I've created another self. My 'other' self subscribes to AWW, writes poetry, _always_ reads The Post, _isn't_ into F1, and won't even admit that I exist.
So far the separation is going well. I'm concerned that it'll all end in arguments about who gets the fridge, and the internet connection. (And the stupid wagon-wheel coffee table!)

Write an Entry
"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
