Uncle H, Someone made the mistake of suggesting that the secret passage(s?) behind the room(s?) might have a tenuous connection to a maze in a computer game dating from the 1970s, so now we've got to relive every cliche from that game before the plot can move forward...

That and I accidentally called Yowuzupman "Peet"... I think. Or maybe it was the other way around...

At the moment, a bunch of us is conducting a room-by-room search. We are currently at room 003, which is NYC's room. His room sports an entrance to a maze, and we are currently exploring it on the NYC's room thread. We just found out that it is modeled on the maze from Zork I and we have just found some items in a room. The items are: a very poorly made android, an ornate knife, with rubies on the hilt,
the android's useless motherboard, a skeleton key and an old leather bag, bulging with coins.

If we have the skeleton key, perhaps we can open all the other locked doors... That might jog the story along a little...

Aha. I was wondering where the posse had got to.
I'll just go to my room
*rturns, five minutes later, rubbing his hands*

[Quoth then flies into UH's room.]
[Quoth the Murkrow] Oh my god!!
[They all rush in]
[Quoth the Murkrow] UH shall be communicating with us ...
[UH, or his android, is dead]
[Quoth the Murkrow] ... nevermore! Oh god, I'm saying THAT again!

Big Bad Werewolf Posted Dec 21, 2000
I don't know him in real life, but I do know who he is and was in communication with him via email prior to 2 weeks ago. I suspect that he is away for the holidays and won't post until January. We have started a pool on the NYC's room thread for when he will next post.
Speaking of being away for the holidays, I will be away now until January myself. I heard a rumour that GL will be too.

Who made it back for the new millennium, and where are you located (in the game), please? The forums are getting too damn quiet...
