h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I haven't been getting much out of h2g2 lately. And I think the reason is that I haven't been putting much in. It's time I started recording my actions, thoughts and musings again, as people seem to enjoy reading them.

I think I will write for the Post again, because that puts a bit of structure on things. But I won't suffer from the pressure of deadlines - I'll write when I feel like it and send it off.

I've already written an account of Beatrice's party in Belfast - no doubt it will be published in the next issue the Post once Bel and Beatrice have removed all the scandal and incriminating details from it.

And we don't have any deadlines any more. Since we hhave gone to weekly, deadlines wouldn't make any sense. We publish articles as and when.

I've also decided I need to write more for the Post. I'm applying the journal test. I'll start to post it into a journal, but if it looks too long after I've previewed then I'll send it to the Post instead.

That sounds like a good method. Although I find I write slightly differently for the post, less rambling and more making a distinct point with each article.
