I should have had a disclaimer in the small print, "pictures taken at your own risk, no liability accepted for damage to cameras"

And where would you print that?

Well, the Prof has a number of tattoos. He could easily add a disclaimer there.

ST, on the other hand, doesn't have any tattoos on the parts of him that were visible.

Hmmm, good point, I draw the line at having it tattooed on me forehead.

Actually, I wouldn't draw a line on me forehead either.

They should carry a notice of The Notice: A36762447 then we would have noticed the warning and taken notice not to photograph them *shakes broken camera*
