Well, as people have said, I think bugging the moderators is going to just convince the BBC that we need moderating.

i certainly don't think poking moderators is going to help us at all, but if they are reading posts in context, or reading all posts (to make sure nothing is overlooked) then they will realize that the only reason those posts exist is to prod them. if they weren't here the moderation wouldn't be necessary.
one way to look at it: by deliberately posting things that need to be reviewed for moderation we are insuring these people will have jobs into the forseeable future. they should be thanking us for job security. on the other hand, maybe if we don't use them (the moderators), maybe they will go away.
