Sigh...
My dictionary mentions nine uses as a verb and four uses as a substantiv for the word 'prick'. I guess the moderator has been lazy since they chose only to read the shortest of those 13 explanations. Maybe they don't know the other meanings...?
[This post has been moderated by me, Ottox. DISCLAIMER: I am not and have never been a moderator for the BBC. The moderation of this post is NOT official(*), it's NOT an attempt to impersonate a Moderator. CERTAINLY not!]
(*) at least not yet...
[Note to the moderator: As you can see in the previous post, the word was written within *'s in a sentence of it's own. Writing like that at h2g2 usually indicates an action, so the word is a verb. As far as I know, there are no meanings of the verb 'prick' that should need to be moderated (but I might be wrong, after all I'm a disgusting FOREIGNER ). Just so you can say that you've learned something today.

Making a fuss?
Yes, I'll continue fighting stupidity as long as I'm here!
Not that I had expected anything else of course...

Referred...
Don't teach the moderator anything!
Oh well, who could expect anything else from a site that gets more and more unimportant?
