There are quite a few people who'd do some nasty things to you for saying that, you know... Well, sometimes the idea is rather appealing.

Every kid needs a sign saying "handle with care" or something. Because they can be pretty cool.

I know, I know. I was always a bit of a loner, got on better with the teachers than the other students. But now children seem to be magnetically attracted to me

How do you do this?
Some kids think I'm scary, even when I don't mean to be.

I don't know! Probablyby treating them as slightly older than they in fact are, and assuming they have intelligence... And *not* running after them trying to make friends!

Must be my career plans that make them uncomfortable - this explains why they start playing tricks on me as soon as they find out I'm really not that scary...

Could be! They like to trick me, too, I'm afraid, and just generally hang around on me - usually kids between 5 and 9.

So, how goes the kid-tricking?

Ah, relaxing then. My sister comes home tomorrow, then I'll be forced to read again.

You could say, within my extended family there's a general shortage of kids at the moment. So I only ever get exposed to them when I'm doing these kind of work-experience thingies at school.

In my extended family there are a few, a few new ones in the last year. But my sister's turning twelve this week, so that's enough exposure for me
