That's exactly what I am. Really!
OK, here come some more details about me:
Music
I'm a MuG, a member of the h2g2 Musicians Guild.
The Musicians Guild is a virtual club for musicians, singers, composers, and other
music aficionados at h2g2.
I play the drums in two rock bands, Eiskaffee 47,-1 and Itching Cucumbers, but currently I am also learning to play the guitar.
Eiskaffee 47,-
My first band. The rather strange band name, which means "Ice Coffee 47,-" (47 Austrian Schillings, that is), was created in our favourite cafe (the Go West), near school (47,- is the price of the drink), when we started to dislike the original name tzayt (an odd spelling of the german word for time). The band was founded in early 1997, but until late 1999 little happened. Like most teenage bands we prefered drinking. But then we decided that the world was ready for us, stopped drinking, and so it came, that in 2000 we had our first three concerts.
I joined the band several months after it was founded because of a lucky coincidence. The original drummer claimed to need a break because of final exams at school2, but the other guys wanted to continue to play. So, one day, in our favourite cafe (guess which one), they asked me; the rest is history...
