The sound of the German language is often discribed as very hard and rough by speakers of other languages, but that's mostly, because the only thing they know about the German language are those old recordings of Hitler's speeches (which are, indeed, sounding hard and rough).
The goal of this entry is to give the reader a chance of deciding themselves, whether or not this is true.
