I'm in pain, with a bad case of whiplash and a concussion (but otherwise ok)

Tonight I was tootling along at a nice 20MPH (the speed limit) in my car approaching a crossroads where I had right of way. I notice a car coming from the right that is obviously going to fast to stop (50MPH+ IMHO). I hit the breaks coming to a stop just before the speed cushion the encompasses the junction. The car coming from my right tries to do a right turn and comes flying off the speed cushion T-boning my car. The next thing I know is me in pain and people by the car asking me if I'm OK. I'm pretty sure my car is going to be a write off.

The car was stolen and being chased by the Police - they caught the two idiots who were in the stolen car.

Anyway I hope your night was better than mine.

Good grief. How dramatic! Great you are all right, of course.

Are we going to see you on one of those Police! Chase! Stop! (or whatever they're called) programmes, then?

The Police car in pursuit was an unmarked traffic division car which normally have cameras mounted so... er.. it's possible

It will be a while before I can enter the mosh pit at a heavy metal gig but as luck would have it nothing broken - fortunately the front wing took most of the impact - if I'd not slowed down and the main impact had been on the passenger cabin I do not think I would be very well at all...

Oh, I had one of those back in 2003: a twoccer drove into my estate car and wrote it off, hurting me in the process. I was going to beat the crap out of him until the bystanders intervened. So I later asked the arresting officer if she could make sure that this kid 'fell down the stairs' at least twice. She smiled back at me and said 'We'd love to, sir, but nowadays they don't like us doing that'.
