Ha ha... I've been at college, droning my life away... and haven't had the most stable of connections lately. h2g2-wise, I've been right here all along... just following a few story threads and not much else. What's up with you?

been having all kindsa fun running my h2g2 RPG "Silver Sword" A989698 (another shameless plug)

Eh, there wasn't much activity on the news channel... also, you posted a message at me during one of the times that I wasn't very active around here. Most of what I've done around here lately centers around a big quest that Affy sent a bunch of people on, and then the shop that got built during that quest (the link's on my page... somewhere). It's the home of all three of my characters, but two of them are out causing mayhem atm.

Perhaps I'll join that quest of yours if I run out of other quests to take care of. Or maybe even pop up in character with a few, er, "friends"...

OK, make shure you ask permission for getting control of an NPC if your character doesn't comply with the game character creation instructions.

its been quite a long time since that time we were hanging around ifMUD with DavidW and I was asking all those techinical questions that bored you to death .....

Heheh.

Yeah, I'm still alive, but not around so much on h2g2... though shortly I should be opening a similar project... assuming certain partners of mine get enough free time to get it started.

Occasionally I'm on the ifMUD... and sometimes even find new construction's been going on in the Lounge as usual, even without me around.

So you've finished high school now, eh? What's next?

You heard I got kicked off ifMUD right? Maybe I'll try again there in a few years ... I was too young for it anyway at the time.

Next for me is a summer job that takes me away from the Internet until probably the beginning of September, starting in June. So unfortunately I won't be able to resume my h2g2 clubs/societies until I get back.

I'm hoping to eventually move both of them away from h2g2 onto my very own domains/sites/servers. I'm wanting to start taking college classes to teach me some internet programming languages like Java and PHP so I can write a new kind of site myself instead of trying to start my own ifMUD clone, which I was doing for a while, and might still do in the meantime maybe.

I have all kinds of ideas that I thought of during my exile which I will begin implementing ASAP after I get back from this summer. It's gonna rock. If I can ever write up this program I've thought of, which I KNOW is possible if I only knew the right languages, it would really take over the Net. Everybody would want one if they only knew what it was and what it was used for. (i.e. online communications - also with serious gaming applications)

Gonna take over the WORLD!!!

Hm, as far as RPGs go, h2g2's kind of a dead zone, lately... I'm getting a lot closer to getting a site of my own started; but I don't want to announce it until I'm sure the momentum's gonna keep up with it. It's a tricky thing, but it should end up a lot nicer than trying to keep things alive on h2g2.

Tryin' to do somethin', at least, to make life a little more interesting...
