Jack-happy

Having just resigned from my job, I am still in a bit of a daze.

the new job I am going to involves a new country, social enviroment and language.

I am still not sure if it was a wise move... however everything the stands still wears away to dust in time.

So stiff upper lip and up and out of that trench for me.

It will be sad to leave my friends though.... I know from previous experience that promises to keep in touch are rarely kept.

I cannot concentrate on my work... will I get sacked before I work out my notice? does it really matter?

Boy do I feel tired, wish I was at home right now instead of trying to look busy in the office.... ah the things I could do....
1/ take off my clothes and lay on the bed... put some sounds on... drink a cup of tea and look out of the window...[I have a great ocean view... accross a busy strait maybe 3 miles wide, I can see Lantau Island.... high mountains and one of the last relatively unspoilt places left in Hong Kong.

I could read all the reference guides to the computers/electrical toys I have bought in the last year but never did have the time to learn how to use them properly.

I can spend time with my soul mate, she is soooo beautiful, inside and out. and reflect on how lucky I am that she takes me seriously. knowing me as she does.

I can meditate on the state of being that is inside all of us. I can meet myself and understand why I act the way I do... understanding is the first step to forgiveness. Yes it is good to forgive yourself, once that is done you can move on to the next step of lifes journey without remorse for what is lost.

Maybe as I wander on this meditative astral plane I will meet kindred souls who will stop and share a few moments of peace....

ah yes that would be so much better than sitting at my desk. But then again in way, for the past few minutes I have been there and found that peace...... (a)boss has walked into my office.. he is being charming, and concerned, I am just finishing this letter I say... ha... he can wait.

must go now
