I'm back...
Hello! I really ohpe this isn't seen as sock puppetry but I'm the Researcher who used to be known as AgProv until the BBC and I had a falling out. Became an unperson on all BBC boards, which included hootoo at that time. When hootoo was able to declare independence and strike out on its own, I was able to come back as AgProv2.As you do, I went away and did other things for a few years. but when the firm I work for clamped down on internet access by staff and every damn thing worth going to on the Web was blocked by a firewall that could make North Korea look liberal, the only thing that could sneak past their blocking software was hootoo.
That's some power you have.
I came back to hootoo, read lots of articles and entires to stay sane at work, , and realised why I liked it in the first place. You have to be reminded.
So I tried to reactivate AgProv2 so as to post again, and if possible to pick up where I left off.
Couldn't get in. The login process let me get so far and then the page froze. Frustrating.
Decided to concede defeat, start again, and become AgProv3. The new and possibly improved version.
And.
I'm back. Hello hootoo, I didn't realise how much i missed you.
I guess I gett a new Researcher Number now? Ah well. such is life.
