A researcher with an interest in music, literary and film lore.
I'm very intrigued to see that a site I once attempted to join around the turn of the century (I may have but can't recall my log-in if I did) is still here and still looking contemporary. It's actually quite a fascination to browse articles that are 13 or so years old but which in some cases relate to items that have recent or present media presence (eg. Paul McCartney and Beatles reissues, for example, the circa 2001 articles here on which I am enjoying tremendously.)
As I have a huge library and a set of recurrent interests in music, film and books, I imagine that I will be splurging on a few articles and in the meantime contributing and perhaps reinvigorating some conversations whose last word to date was some considerable time ago.
I won't specify my particular research interests just now but will update when I've become familiar with the site.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
