Oh thankyou for the welcome great ACEy type person

So sorry for my delay in replying apparently my password for the outside door was not the password for the outside door but the one for the toilet Story of my life that.

Any way here I am, brand spanking new and wondering if you would like a towel. I have to say they may be damp, some of them got damaged on the trip here. I'm never trusting British Areospace again let me tell you. I knew I should have gone American, but never mind.

I have a few questions.

1. How do I make my page a different colour? (this should have been question 2 but I've never been one to start at the start I'm way too illogical for that)

2. do I have to put the tags in to dictate every new paragraph (this I'm thinking now may be a daft question ;-/)

3. can you put a link in using the tag to a blog?

Re. your questions:
1: Can't help you with colours, but there should be a forum for Guide ML questions. Will come back and let you know if I find one
2: I think tags are the way to go, yeah.
3: Yes. I'll have to find out how though - I have several different external links on my page, but it's been soooo long, I don't remember how.

Looking at peoples pages?
I just right clicked (Chrome, Swedish) and chose Inspect component (or something much like it)
Using arrow keys, I could walk down through the parts of the page, and expand branches and finally see the guide ml part for my PS.

Also, on the h2g2 <./>FrontPage</.> there's a section named 'Most Popular Conversations' which can be quite amusing to check out.

Not really I've been cheating and copy and pasting it, then when you get something wrong it tells you what you need to add in red, so also a bit of trial and error.

I forget so quickly - I'm not even sure where I found a post from you , but then I noticed you were new, and had some questions, so I just dropped in... Probably somewhere in a thread in Ask?

Yes.

If it's a personal space, it'll start with U. Change the U to TestUserPage.

So: My PS is U612575. See the GuideML at <./>TestUserPage612575</.>.

If it's an article, it'll start with A. Change the A to Test. So: An article I wrote is at A54511986. View the GuideML at <./>Test54511986</.>.

Note: If the page is a plain text page, not a GuideML page, you don't get a sensible error message when you try to view the GuideML. Instead, you get all kinds of broken junk. Don't worry about that. It doesn't actually break anything. Just hit the back button and step away carefully.

Thanks Trig I found out about the test user page from tatiana's link (i've probably spelt that wrong .) Thats how I managed to change the colour on my user page.
