The men go tohouses and talk.
The women shop.
Kuwait is the biggest cat-litter tray in the world.
And it's hot.
Very, very hot.
The drivers are maniacs.
I had a holiday there in 1996 and I was glad to get home.

I didn't, until I got the offer.
Still, it was an experience.
One I never intend to repeat.
Those Arabs....
Have you read my entry on Driving Etiquette - Kuwait?
I tried to write it seriously, I really did.
Really.
Ho-hum.

Aw, honey. That is just wonderful!
I can see the serious side to it. You get the message across superbly. But the humour is great

My pleasure.
and you are appreciated.
On a slightly lower note, Bb I think, I assume you knew 'Sus has left here?
I was just checking her page to see if there was anything new.
I knew she had gone, but now I am very at seeing it again
Sorry.
Have a good day, honey.

Oh, it's ok. I know why she left.
All will be well. She will be back. I have faith

How did he do, honey?
How are things in general?
After SMEG on 24th, I'm probably going to leave here for a while.
Need to concentrate on some RL stuff for a while, but email is always there, or IM too.

He wouldn't give his talk, so the Cub Leader suggested the other Cubs asked him questions about his Pokemon collection and he coped with that quite well and earned his badge.
Today we to Badge Day at the New Waltham Scout Hut, he could have gone for four other badges and he managed to complete two.
So I'm chuffed as you can imagine.
I understand, RL comes first.
But do expect texts if that's ok, and could you please email me and tell me which IM you use, as I have Yahoo messenger, MSN messenger, and ICQ.
Thanks honey...
I hope you are going to make the London meet in Jan?
And will you be catching the London-Edinburgh train leaving Kings Cross at 12 noon on the Sunday again? I could always book that return train....

That's great. What a nice Cub Leader.
2 more as well, wonderful I'm very happy for you both.
Text are fine Just been so busy recently that all external communication has basically stopped. Need to concentrate on that for a while. I'll be checking back now and again, but am not getting involved in anything big.
I'll email you later today, once I've slept a bit after NS. Away this week anyway. Off to see my friend, who's mum has cancer. Saw her a couple of weeks ago. She's up here, but he's in Bristol. She told me I have to look after him. She has been given till the new year. Makes me sad, but happy she has had a full and interesting life up to this point. he is going to take it so hard. Has done already, but when she finally goes he is going to be so distraught. *sigh* Poor guy, but then I'll do whatever I can for him.
I have booked that weekend off already, and signed up for it, so all being well, yes, i'll be there. As for the train, why, I probably will
All depends on where I end up staying, cos I can't afford a hotel. How does the idea of hiring a hall for everyone to stay in sound? Big all night party? Could be a laugh. I am sure there are enough people who would be interested. Save a lot of them having to leave early.
P's idea, but I loved the thought of it. *biggrin*

That sounds like a great idea, but I usually stay at Mina's and I know she is looking forward to having me stay again.
Although, if we do get a hall hired, and there's gonna be plenty of people staying, Mina might be persuaded to as well.
I'm sorry about your friend's mum.
You have to be thankful that they had that long though, don't you?
You're a good friend,
I didn't get asn email from you, didn't you get round to it? No worries, I'm just as bad
I might text you later, make you jump
Cubs didn't go well last Thursday, but it wasn't Andrew's fault.
The Cub Leader wasn't there, she'd been to a training session in Birmingham and had been delayed getting back so she couldn't make it. He was stressed from the start, and asked where she was, several times. He joined in one activity, then came over to me & climbed on my knee & wouldn't leave me alone.
When I tried to get him to join in another activity, he got more objective and started to try to tear off his badges on his Cub jumper
I knew that was stress, because he is very proud of his badges.
So I told him to go get his coat, I was taking him home.
He shot off, and had his coat on ready to go while I was still having a word with the second-in-command! Once we got home, he was fine.
This family therapy I am having seems to be working, as I knew what to do, when I realized he was stressed, and was able to minimize the disruption. He also shouldn't be too difficult to get there next week, which if I'd tried to drag it out
I am booking the London meet night before off with Andrew's foster mum {she doesn't do Saturday nights} when I see her next week.
Then hopefully my daughter will collect him and have him overnight on the Saturday, so I can travel home Sunday as before.
I hope she does, or I'll not be able to attend!
*around screaming hysterically for a few minutes*
*has glass of water*
I'm sure it'll be alright.

Do you think I mind?
Not really here. Probably some of my last posts for a while, this. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone and let them know I am fine.
