Eek! Apologies for leaving you on the doorstep like that. No way to treat a lady when she comes to call. (I was busy, sorry. I'm at w*rk right now. Bleugh!)
Ok start again.
Hi! Welcome, come on in. Chocolates? Never refuse an offer like that I'd offer you but I can't catch the damn thing.
, , , , or all on offer though. Grab a seat on the sofa, and make yourself at home. No standing on ceremony here.

Indeed *passes over* Well, I got to know EV through organising the Edinburgh gathering last August. I asked him to start it up, as I didn't really know that many people. Lurked for a really long time, me
Anyway, we got to know each other better when we started on the Glasgow Project, and have been out for a few drinks since then.
A nice guy.
He had mentioned you a few times before, but many people thought you had gone off into the sunset, me included, until he mentioned you might be up around xmas time, so there you go.
So what of you, if you don't mind me asking?

So another day dawns, and back to the grind (well in 2 hours anyway).
No doubt you'll be off partying?
Me, i'll just while away my time doing as little w*rk as possible, have a curry, do even less w*rk and then come home. *yawn* I've successfully managed to bore myself to death already!
If I don't see you before, have a great weekend, and catch up Monday.

I went and had one after work with my firend jody, we got let out 45mins early due to lack of work (no, we don't get paid for that) and ran screaming "Alcohol" to the nearest pub. well needed after last nights shift. I would write what some people called me last night, but the moderators would get the big black marker out.
you were thick, you missed your train, you can't expect me to help you
( i work at national rail. everybody thinks i work at some sort of miracle department attached to the vatican)

Ow. I did that at a xmas night out and had to find somewhere to stay. It was a Sunday night. Not good.
But apart from that, weekend ok? Mine was fine, until I burnt my hand cooking dinner last night. One finger all swollen and covered in blisters now. Ouch.
Hiya
Mrs V Posted Apr 2, 2001
Try bathing it in milk, that works, or somthering the blister with honey if they go crusty. See the things I know!! Just checking in from uni, got to take my mind of an exam!

Actually, it isn't sore, which is just as well, being a bloke
*crosses unburnt fingers and wishes Mrs. V luck for her exams*
Just remain focused, and you will be fine. 42% is a pass anyway, isn't it? (yes, read that in another thread )

Its so cool that my nickname in uni is "The Answer" the only thing was, I didn't get 42 last time, cos I made a joke about it, he gave me 35%. Not a pass, me not happy bunny! I've had the most nerve racking day, I'm supposed to go out to a class do for someones birthday, but I don't think i will, I've got no cash anyway!

I hate that sort of attitude, after all, you pay their blooming wages, bunch of snivelling could-have-beens.
So did you go out, or was it an early night after all?
Hiya
Mrs V Posted Apr 3, 2001
Nup, stayed in, watched some fine TV, and chatted to my hubby on the phone. Unfortunately my lecturaers are well respected reserchers in their fields, so i don't get to insult them!
