Thanks for the advice, but I already do the MSN site, I am semi-active in AWW, and just about everything else in h2g2.

If it works like PR then once the entry has been picked - (ie been through the voting system, whatever that turns out to be, and officially selected for the UG) - and approved in principal by the Editors, then they will use the appropriate in-house tool to remove it from AWW.
The AWW thread then magically reattaches itself to the entry.

While it is unofficial we won't be getting things onto the Front Page...
Ping me if you like, and we can chat about this.

While it's unofficial, when it's been approved, we either ask the researcher to remove it, or to get Anna to remove it on the Batches page...

There are three reasons that I can think of for an entry to leave AWW - one is that it is picked, one is that the author decides to remove it for whatever reason, and the third is that two Miners agree that AWW is not the right place for the entry, probably for reasons of quality, or because the author has left.
We can't do (1) yet because we don't have a picking system finalised. (2) has always happened. (3) is already happening.
Does this help Jodan?
